High school of the dead

Highschool of the Dead (学園黙示録 HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD Gakuen Mokushiroku Haisukūru obu za Deddo?) is a manga series written by Daisuke Satō and illustrated by Shōji Satō. The story follows a group of high school students caught in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. The series was serialized in the September 2006 issue of Fujimi Shobo's Monthly Dragon Age, and the first volume was released by Kadokawa Shoten on March 1, 2007,[2] with a total of seven volumes available in Japan as of April 25, 2011.[3] The series is licensed in North America by Yen Press,[4] and released the first volume on January 25, 2011.[5] An anime adaptation produced by Madhouse aired in Japan from July 5, 2010 to September 20, 2010.

Nice thread! You outdid yourself. But seriously this anime is scary...very sexy but very scary. Not bad though for a anime horror show.

I agree with that 100% by "that" I mean both of those statements.

Ah man I love this anime can't believe I forgot to thread it well least I'm replying now! So yeah whatever there's a lot of fan serves but it's still a fantastic anime with a great plot,killer soundtrack and breath taking artwork.

Artwork,soundtrack and plot are all debated by myself. This anime was 6/10 trust me I know a masterpiece and this isn't one.

You know I noticed there hasn't been a season two yet they promised one as well a continuation of the manga about a year or two ago if I'm correct. Why hasn't it been continued? Lack of funding? Some sort of inside scandal? Really what? Because I am just aching to season two and read vol.8 and so on of the manga.

It probably didn't make enough money the first time for them to break even just like Elfen Lied so thus there will not be a season two. That is somewhat of a shame I must say because the manga carried on for a little while after the anime and that portion of the manga should have been in to an anime as well but well you know how thing's tend to go.
