A new Pokemon anime called Pokemon The Origins has been announced, this series goes back to 1995 when Pokemon first came out in Japan and follows the story of one of the most iconic charicters in Pokemon history Red, this new anime features a different art style more to other animes and I have a feeling a great wave of nostalgia when I watch it, this new anime will debut October 12 2013

This sounds like its the way pokemon is SUPPOSED to be! I think this new old school anime featuring what ash wishes he could be the true champion and slayer of gary oaks. RED. I honestly can't wait for this new upcoming series.

Exactly I'm super excited, but I still like the new anime I actually like the black and white anime it's not that bad, idk why new anime (with the exception of gen 4, too many fillers and it wasnt very exciting, not even gym battles weren't all that great) but black and white was actually good, he isn't really as stupid as yall say ^^ but I still can't wait for the original anime ^^

I will probably watch a few episodes of this spin off before I stop because that is how I am with all pokemon anime I will be watching them and then all of a sudden I shall stop and think "can I not be doing something more intellectually stimulating?" and I will just stop or in other words quit watching it then and there.
Or more commonly I shall just and watch an anime I find to be more intriguing than the one I am watching which in the case of most pokemon anime's is not difficult to do at all.
This is just my honest opinion and accumulated thoughts over a period of time.
